Chamber launches new AI-powered accelerator program ‘Tech to Table’ with support from Google.org
The new program will equip 80 local entrepreneurs in the food business with hands-on AI training and individualized support, empowering them in the competitive NYC business landscape
NEW YORK, NY – January 15, 2026 – The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce today announced the launch of Tech to Table, the Manhattan Chamber’s six-week program for food businesses, supported by Google.org, designed to help restaurants across Manhattan integrate Google AI tools into day-to-day operations. The program includes two cohorts of 40 participants each, and aims to strengthen operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support long-term business growth for Manhattan’s small business community. Applications are now open for the first cohort through January 18 at 11:59 PM ET.
The first cohort – set to begin on January 26 – will focus on small restaurant businesses, one of the city’s most important and competitive sectors. Over the course of six weeks, participating restaurant owners will receive hands-on training and step-by-step guidance from the Chamber and Google-trained instructors on how to use AI to improve inventory management, sales, cost tracking, staffing, marketing, and beyond. Business owners who complete the full program and implement the guidance provided will be eligible for a $5,000 grant to support their continued growth and technology adoption.
“Our new accelerator program represents an important milestone in our mission to ensure that Manhattan’s small food businesses have access to the tools and technologies they need to thrive in a rapidly changing economy,” said Jessica Walker, President and CEO of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. “Technology tools for business continue to rapidly advance, and AI in particular has the potential to greatly reduce operational burdens for small business owners across Manhattan. We’re thrilled to partner with Google to bring these capabilities and offerings directly to the entrepreneurs who need them most and who keep our city thriving.”
The second cohort will begin at a later date early this year and will continue with one-on-one guidance from an AI consultant. Participants will join one session per week as they receive hands-on training with Google AI tools, all designed to fit the entrepreneurs’ busy schedules.
Tech to Table builds on the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce’s long history of providing targeted, practical support to local entrepreneurs, including its Retail Storefront Accelerator program, networking events and programs, access to capital, marketing opportunities, and more. As Manhattan’s business and commercial landscape evolves, the Chamber will continue expanding its portfolio of programs to ensure that local NYC business owners can stay competitive and adaptable.
