Chamber issues statement on Mayor de Blasio's State of the City Speech

In his State of the City Speech today, Mayor de Blasio proposed several measures to help more small businesses thrive in New York.
In response, Chamber President Jessica Walker issued the following statement:
"The Mayor’s attention to the needs of small business is both heartening and welcome. His proposals to invest pension funds in local businesses, curb fines, and expand access to legal help and navigators are urgently needed and we support them. But the best part of his speech was what he didn’t say; importantly there was no mention of new mandates or costly regulations like paid vacation which would crush many small businesses."
