Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Launches Member Advantage Card To Market Small Businesses

Wednesday, October 3, 2018

NEW YORK – October 3, 2018 – Today, the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce announced the launch of its new Member Advantage Card to promote shopping at small businesses throughout the borough.

The card will allow Chamber members to claim discounts at participating businesses. While only members of the Chamber may use the card to redeem these deals, any local business may offer discounts and the Chamber will promote their offer. Businesses offering a deal will signal their participation with a window decal.

Currently 40 businesses have enrolled and the Chamber is committed to growing the program over the coming months.

“Our Chamber is focused on helping small businesses compete with larger companies and those with significant marketing capabilities,” said Jessica Walker, President and CEO of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. “This new card will help to promote local businesses and increase the number of customers coming through their doors.”

HSBC is the major sponsor of this new initiative and helped to design how the program works.
