Tuesday, September 11, 2018

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the opening of its MCC COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND GRANT PROGRAM.

The MCC COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND GRANT PROGRAM will allocate grants from $500 to $5,000 to eligible community-based organizations for programs benefiting the Community Board 8 district: from East 59th Street to East 96th Street/5th Avenue to the East River. Please note that the program must benefit those living specifically in CB 8. Programs directed to all of Manhattan or New York City will not be eligible.

In the 20+ years MCC has been running this grant program, we have
awarded over $3,500,000 to 160 such groups for a variety of programs spanning the range of after school programs, to homeless programs, to the arts, and libraries, etc. These awards are made possible from the proceeds of the MCC 2nd and 3rd Avenues Community Benefit Festivals sponsored and run by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.

Attached are instructions and an application for the 2018 program. If you are eligible, we invite you to submit your completed application for consideration to:
