The Chamber opens application cycle for its annual grant program for community organizations

 The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the opening of its 19th annual MCC COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND GRANT PROGRAM.

Each year this program allocates grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 to eligible community-based organizations delivering services in the Community Board 8 district of Manhattan: from East 59th Street  to East  96th Street/5th Avenue  to the East River. The programs must benefit those living specifically in CB 8. Programs directed to all of Manhattan or New York City will not be eligible.

The application must be postmarked by October 13, 2017. Awardees will be notified in December 2017. The application can be found below.

In the 20+ years MCC has been running this grant program, the Chamber has awarded more than $3,500,000 to 160 such groups for a variety of programs spanning the range of after school programs, to homeless programs, to the arts, and libraries, etc.  These awards are made possible from the proceeds of the Manhattan Chamber's two annual street fairs that take place within Community Board 8.
