Building a Firm Foundation

This full day of practical educational programs, brings together eight rich sessions tailored for family businesses.

This is a high impact, cost and time efficient day for busy NYC area family business owners, that offers great value. Sessions are led by eight outstanding faculty members in a private setting with time for Q&A and networking.

Business-owning families want to do the best job that they can for their families, businesses, customers, employees, and the communities they work and live in, but they all face a variety of challenges.

The 2017 NYCFEC Family Business Day is designed to provide a neutral, non-commercial learning experience to help everyone plan and work together. Some topics are:

• How to build you family business to last

• Family meetings, communications, and working together

• Family Constitutions

• Ownership/shareholder agreements and options

• Boards, committees and independent directors

• Trusts and trusteeship
