How Would Leaders Coordinate an Integrated, Layered Response to a Port Attack?
Join senior U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and Army officers as well as civilian, political, and business leaders on Wednesday, 7 June, at the historic US Customs House in New York for a critical forum on Homeland Port Security. This important event will thrust decision makers into real-time simulations of simultaneous terrorist attacks against key maritime assets on the East Coast.
Panelists will assess communication logistics during emergencies; command and control issues; and methods for monitoring and securing the supply chain. They’ll also look at the financial implications of terrorist attacks on commerce and energy.
Luncheon Address-The conference features an intimate gathering at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The incoming Commandant of the Coast Guard, VADM Thad Allen, will deliver the keynote luncheon address.
Confirmed Speakers Include:
VIP Liberty Island Tour and Briefing with Cocktail Reception and Dinner at the Great Hall on Ellis Island—The conference kicks off on 6 June with a unique opportunity to tour the Statue of Liberty and to hear about security challenges from the Station Commander. After the tour, we'll convene for cocktails and dinner at the Great Hall on Ellis Island.
