The 36th Annual 3rd Ave. Community Benefit Festival hosted by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce CBF is being held on Sunday September 8, 2013 from Noon-5pm on 3rd Ave. from 66th-86th St.
One mile long, this is one of NYC’s five oldest and largest street fairs. Over 800 vendors selling all types of products, specialty blocks and entertainment stages are featured.
Presenting sponsor, The New York Daily News will also be presenting one full block of entertainment and fun. Radio Disney is hosting a Kids Block with an stage, games and attractions for kids. TheaterMania will have an entire block devoted to Off-Off Broadway, Off-Broadway and Broadway shows including a performance stage. And there is a Green and Artisanal Foods block to showcase great products from local farmers and artisanal food manufacturers. And NY Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center is hosting a full block of health related booths, educational materials, screenings and giveaways!

And the MTA will be there offering information on the new 2nd Ave. Subway Community Information Center as well as reporting on the subway’s construction progress.
The Manhattan Chamber booth will feature a live Statue of Liberty where people can pose for pictures and will be giving away balloons and community information.
