Federal Government
Intro Federal Government M/WBEs are critically important to the American economy. America’s 6.21 million majority-owned, privately held women-owned businesses employ 9.2 million people and contribute $1.2 trillion to the economy. However, women continue to face unique obstacles in the world of business. Minorities in business are the fastest-growing segment of the population in the U.S., yet gross receipts and business participation levels are comparatively low. All this leads, of course, to an important implication of the Federal Government in the Minority & Women-Owned Business Enterprise Program.
