MCC Green Business Committee Presents

"Greener New York Summit: Government, Business & Energy: Who's Got the Answers?"
Join us for this half-day summit on making businesses greener in New York City!

Learn what’s coming from the government sector How will executive, legislative and regulatory action be driving or supporting sustainability? What trends and innovations are more likely to receive government support? What decisions will be made by government, the private sector or public-private partnerships?

Get guidance on what’s happening in energy and how to respond Find out what’s really going to happen, what’s innovative, and what’s still “out there.” Learn how to make appropriate investments for later savings. Should you really change your lighting and if so, change it to what? Is wind power for real and what does that mean for me. What kind of financial support is available for energy-saving equipment and other forms of investment in energy efficiency?

Hear inspirational stories and practical information from businesses that have gone green successfully. Learn how their green policies have impacted their own employees and their customers. Be inspired by these success stories and take back some practical ideas for your own business.

A half day summit with three panel discussions relating to sustainability issues in NYC. The sessions will focus on government policies, business and renewable energy. The summit will also offer businesses the opportunity to cross-pollinate by exchanging information on GREEN policies and practices in current business plans and operations.
